Let the count down begin....

I can't believe it, 25days left till christmas! I better start wrapping my gifts and being a good boy.

I have been wondering, they say ''he seys you when your sleeping, he knows when your awake, he know's if you've been bad or good, so be good for goodness sake'' if that is true, how can he see through my blind? I just can't understand but it is all to risky to take a chance and be bad. Guess I will just be on my best behaviour till after Christmas!

Tis the season

Auntie Tracy bought my mom this special christmas decoration!

What an exciting last few days. I went to meet the man in the red suit! Yup, I met Santa. I swear he is real, I saw him with my own two eyes. He was so real that I was scared. I would not go anywhere near him. Finally mom and dad convinced me to get close enough for a picture.

This was as close as I was getting and mom was staying with me!

Our tree with child proof plastic balls,

We also put up our Christmas tree. It is all a little confusing... mom covered the tree with balls but I am not allowed to play with them! I have to admit when her and papa are not looking I hide them under my bed. I don't think that they have found the spot yet so I am starting a little collection in my room.

We listened to christmas music all weekend again. I am still working on perfecting my dance mooves to impress the ladies this holiday season. We also started making our holiday chocolate. I figure that everyone likes chocolate so if my dance mooves don't get better I will offer chocolate as the perfect little surprise to give all the special people in my life.

Once all that was done I was ready for a nap. I didn't even make it to my bed.

Holiday Festivities Begin!

Can you guess what inspired us on the color for holiday decorating??? My jacket!

It is starting to feel a lot like Christmas at my house. Not that I really remember Christmas but mom keeps telling me it is coming. I figure that all the decorations she is putting around the house are for the holidays! She even started playing Christmas music. Dad is not so happy about that but I don’t mind I love to since and dance to music. She even put this little perfume thing on the mantel and our house smells like spruce tree!

The only hat that I keep on. It's a little big but it sure keeps me warm!

Dad told me that we were expecting some snow the other night. I did remember snow but I was impressed the other morning with the frost on the car windows so you can just imagine how excited I was to see snow. I wondered if it would be like bubble bath? Maybe a bit colder than bubble bath… as it turns out, it was just cold. Dad says that now  the snow has come we will do some fun activities like skating and slidding and even ice fishing. I just can't wait!

These are my beautiful Christmas lights. Mommy and daddy helped me put them up this weekend! Me and mom even made a few decorations together. I can’t wait to put them on the tree this weekend!

We are almost done.. Just a few touches left.

A Bad Dream

Last night I had a bad dream. I woke up in the middle of the night so scared in my bed that mommy had to come get me. She gave me a bottle and it calmed me down a bit but there was no way that I was going back to my bed! Me and mom cuddled up on the couch for a while but then she brought me to the big bed. I guess that she was not as comfy as me on the couch. I was half asleep when she put me in bed but when I saw that papa was next to me, I woke up right away. He was snorring like a bear, but not for long... I snuggled up right on his tummy and gave him a big  wet kiss. Guess what???? He grumbled and woke up. He let me stay in the bed with him and mom for a few minutes but then he brought me back to my own bed.

I was still scared to be alone but I manned up to make my daddy proud! Hope that tonight I will not have any scary thoughts.

Family Fun

Both my parents were home this weekend! Papa has been away for the last two weekends and me and mom had a blast but it was about time that I spend some time with my old man. We had a lot of fun stuff to get done this weekend. We put up the christmas light before it gets to cold. I was a big help. Although mom and dad did most of the work I helped them untangle ...I mean tangel the lights! We also got our outdoor christmas boxes set up. Me and mom started to make some christmas decorations too. She said that this year since I am such an artist she will decorate her tree with my works of art. I heard her telling my auntie that it was because she did not want to put her special decorations on the tree in case someone pulled it down. I can not imagine who would pull down the tree....
Bonne Fete Maman!

We also celebrated mommy's birthday. We went to both of my grandparents houses for dinner. I was so excited that I kept clapping my hands. My cousin Liam thought that it was his birthday. The food was so yummy. I am lucky that both my grandparent cook so well.

My play area at my grandparents house

We also got to visit my fairy godmother. She is in the hospital since she is sick but I made her a nice card to make her feel better. We used to walk to her house all the time and she always gave me cookies. It was maical, even in the hospital she had some goodies for me. I hope that she will get better soon. Talking about goodies, I was looking in my recipe book to make Sharon a special treat but we have to leave before I started cooking. Maybe next time.

That recipe is in here somewhere!

Mommy and daddy also put together my big boy bed! I slept in it for the first time Saturday. We kinda got off to a bad start since I kept falling out of the bed. In the middle of the night I even got out of bed, opened my door and went to get in bed with my parents. I brought doudou and Mr elephant with me. I got away with it for a few minutes but then my parents brought me back to my bed. I don't know why but today my bed looks different, my parents but bars on the side of it. Guess it is to keep me safe. I hope that tonight we will all have a better niht sleep.

First night in my big boy bed!

Modified sleeping arrangements... night number two.

I will remeber

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
We went to the remembrance day ceremony this weekend. My parents explained to me that it is a special day that we should remember all the men and women that faught in the war. I will remember William Baldwin and Louis Mastroluca who fought for our country.

Me and grandma honouring our soldiers.

Just the two of us

Me and mom spent our first weekend alone together while papa went on an excursion in the woods. So, mom planned a few fun activities for when papa was gone. My weekend started with a dinner with mommy, auntie Tracy and grandma. I was excited to go to the restaurant. I love going out for dinner. I was actually so excited all day about the restaurant that with all the excitement I fell asleep on the way there. Mom carried me in and I slept throuh the entire meal. I did wake up just in time for some ice cream though... Mom felt lke spoiling me so I got to eat my ice cream before eatin my dinner.

Where is doudou and my milk? I am sooo tired.

I told you I am not tired I am just resting before going out for dinner
By the time that we got home mom was not feeling great so we got into our pj's and cuddled up on the couch and wached a movie. We watched fast five! There was a lot of action in that movie. Papa really missed something.

My new Handy Manny pj's

In the morning when we woke up I made mom some toast. Ok well, she took out the toaster and did most of the job but I pushed down the button and put the bread in the toaster. I figured that since she was not feeling great I should give her a hand.

I also went to swimming lessons. It was fun but I was a little nervous. I am not used to being in the water without mommy. When we got home me and mommy did some craft and it was time for lunch.

My special snack!

Even Dolce wanted to share! I think that he though it was a real fish.

Sunday was our last day before daddy came home so we planned for lots of fun. We went to Zig Zag Zoo. What a place! I played with Rose and Liam. Last time that I went there I was just a baby so it was a lot more fun this time. My aunty Tracy is scared of heights so I brought her all the way to the top of the obstacle course. She was really scared! It was kinda funny, but in the end we were all brave and ventured down the big slide.  Grandma came too. I hope that we go again sometime soon.
